So the other day, I wasn't feeling very well. I'd left work early to go home and rest, and did so most all of the afternoon. I woke up to find Celeste in the dining room, sitting at our table and coloring these beautiful pictures of flowers that she'd drawn for me. It was the sweetest thing. Her curls were once again going crazy all around her face, and she was diligently coloring with all of her efforts. At first, she didn't even notice me standing there. So I was able to snap a few pictures of her with my cell phone while she was coloring.
As you can see, she was so intense! She sticks her tongue out of her mouth when she's focusing really hard on something. So cute! I love the way she looks here. And then there's that winning smile. That beautiful, dimpled smile with those dancing eyes and the chipped tooth. She was so excited to take a photo with me showing her artwork. I am not ready for her to grow up. I'm not ready to be the "Mom" who doesn't know anything about anything. I still want her to be my tiny little baby girl.
